Grovetown High School Opens: Columbia County’s newest high school opens its doors for the first day of class on August 10th, 2009. It is located on a 70.4 acre campus at the intersection of Chamblin Road and Baker Place Road. The building itself is over 220,000 square feet and incorporates a modified floor plan from Greenbrier High School, the county’s second newest high school. Being the newest high school in the county offers some rewards for our students. The first being, new state of the art facilities that can lend a helping hand to accomplish the mission of Grovetown High School. The second is that Grovetown High School will offer a wide array of College Prep classes and a good mix of Vocational classes as well. The Vocational will include Automotive, Broadcasting, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Drafting, Health Occupations, and Metal Working. Click to Visit!
