Benchmark Augusta Homes, LTD was started by Ben Brush in 1980. It has been a family business dedicated to building family affordable homes above and beyond the minimum standards and codes. Along with a dedicated staff and Mr. Brush looking over their shoulder, Benchmark is now operating by fourth and fifth (4th & 5th) generation builders; Joey Brush, managing partner and, B.J. Brush, his son and construction manager. They both have grown up working in all aspects of the business and are ready to accept new challenges. While “BJ” manages day to day field production to maintain the schedule and expected quality; Joey oversees warranty operations as well as managing Brush Development Company and Brush and Company marketing. Joey Brush is a board member of the Builders Association of Metro Augusta and serves on the Drainage Basis Advisory Board for Columbia County. “We take very seriously the reputation my father (Ben J.
